The Medical Assistant performs a variety of clinical and administrative duties. Clinically, these duties range from the collecting of medical histories, assessing work injuries, administering employee drug tests and vaccines, drawing blood for required lab work, DOT/ pre-placement exams and supporting the Occupational Medicine providers. A medical assistant communicates with both patients and employers, handles updating and managing patient records, facilitates follow-up care for patients, and assists in completing required paperwork.

Our current need is a full-time opportunity at our Shakopee MOH campus, however we would ask that this candidate be flexible to pick up shifts at any/all of our MOH Campuses Coon Rapids, Eagan, Woodbury and St. Paul).   We strongly prefer Medical Assistants that are certified with the AAMA.
