Medications, DME and Driver

Today’s note is an important reminder to stop taking all anti-inflammatory medications (like Aleve, Ibuprofen, Naproxen), GLP medications (like Ozempic, Wegovy, Trilicity, Bydureon, Mounjaro, Byettam, Victoza), vitamins, fish oil, and other natural supplements as of today, unless otherwise directed by your surgeon.

If your provider instructed you to obtain a brace or cold compression for your recovery, please contact your provider team to pick it up before day of surgery. You will not be able to purchase on the day of surgery.

Please also arrange for an adult friend, family member or caregiver to stay during your procedure. You will need someone to drive you home and be available to help care for you during the first 24 hours after discharge.
