MRI is a safe, painless way for our physicians to evaluate whether or not an injury has occurred to the soft tissues (ligaments, cartilage and tendons) of your body.
The exam uses radio waves and a magnetic field to create images of the soft tissues of the body, without X-rays.
Images produced by the MRI are much clearer and provide greater detail compared to other diagnostic imaging techniques.
