Administrative Assistant – Surgery Centers

Summit Orthopedics is in search of an Administrative Assistant to support two out-patient surgery centers. This part time position, scheduled for 32 hours per week, will be based out of our surgery center located in Woodbury. Responsibilities include providing clerical support to our surgery centers as well as assisting with facility credentialing and other special projects as assigned. Candidates must demonstrate customer service that goes above and beyond, have strong organizational skills, and be able to administer multiple projects. Ideal candidate must have a minimum of one-year Admin Assistant experience. SOHJ

 

Appointment Schedulers

Summit Orthopedics is in search of a full time Appointment Scheduler to work at our Woodbury location. Responsibilities include registering and scheduling patients for 35+ physicians in our centralized scheduling department. Candidates must be familiar with health insurance, medical terminology, and have a minimum of one-year medical office or call center customer service experience. SOHJ

  

Director of Ancillary Services

Summit Orthopedics is in search of a Director of Ancillary Services. This position provides leadership and general management oversight for multiple ancillary services. This position is responsible for the overall performance of the sites and associated teams with the goal of strategic initiative achievement and continuous progression toward the Summit’s vision.

The position is the principal arm of the management team at ancillary service (and related) sites responsible for the implementation and measurement of performance, processes, procedures, services, or personnel. This includes, but not limited to, the recommendation of strategy for short- and long-term success, employee engagement, turnover, financial results, customer satisfaction, compliance and quality. 

Main Duties :
· Collaborate with Senior Management team to plan and formulate the strategic direction of assigned departments as it relates to the development, establishment, and implementation of long-range and short-range goals and objectives.
· Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments, and directly or indirectly supervise the staff of assigned departments to ensure the highest level of care.
· Implement and manage the departmental budgets preparing and analyzing financial information, comparing actual performance to budgeted performance, and overseeing and/or approving clinical expenses.
· Oversee and coordinate the development, design and improvement of processes and methods within assigned departments.
· Ensure department compliance with all local, state and federal regulatory agencies, in addition to safety and work regulations and the maintenance of housekeeping standards.
· Engage in employee staffing and supervisory duties, including interviewing and hiring employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and ensuring the completion of required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
· Direct the training of new and present employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the practice’s standards for quality, quantity, and safety.
· Participate on cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes, methods, productivity and quality, while reducing costs.

Qualifications:
Minimum five (5) years of clinic management experience required. Minimum of seven (7) years progressive leadership experience required.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in business or health-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred. SOHJ

  

Medical Records Scanner

Summit Orthopedics is in search of a full time Medical Records Scanner to work at our Woodbury location. Responsibilities include preparing and scanning Medical Records and other patient related materials, indexing documents to appropriate electronic files, researching missing information, pulling charts and more.    Minimum of 1-year experience preferred. Computer experience required. SOHJ

  

MRI Assistant

Summit Orthopedics is in search of two full time MRI Assistants to work at our clinics in St. Paul & Woodbury. Duties will include rooming patients, prepping for scan and providing overall support to MRI staff. Candidates must have previous experience in a healthcare setting, CNA preferred. Great customer service skills required. SOHJ

 

MRI Technicians

Summit Orthopedics is in search of two full time MRI Techs to work at our clinics in St. Paul & Woodbury. This position will be responsible for performing all MR functions on an MRI extremity scanner. Candidates must have vocational/technical training, current MRI and ART certification and 2+ years of experience, with 1.5 tessla experience preferred. SOHJ

 

Physician Assistant - Certified

Summit Orthopedics is in search of four full time certified physician assistants (PA-C). Candidates must be willing to travel to other clinic sites and be PA-C or eligible for PA certification. SOHJ

Receipt Entry

Summit Orthopedics is in search of a full time Receipt Entry position located at our Woodbury Corporate facility.  The primary responsibilities include: entry of receipts, researching, processing payments, copying, and much more!  You must have great attention-to-detail, be good with numbers, and be a team player.  Minimum of one-year previous medical office setting and receipt entry experience required. SOHJ 

 

Receptionist

Summit Orthopedics is in search of three full time Receptionists. Responsibilities include greeting and checking-in patients, scheduling appointments, reviewing chart information and much more.  Candidates must be respectful of our diverse patient population, demonstrate customer service that goes above and beyond, and be patient care oriented. Candidates must be familiar with health insurance, medical terminology, and have a minimum of one-year medical office experience.

Woodbury Spine Center – Tuesday morning and Wednesday through Friday 8-4:30pm (30 hours/week)

Woodbury OrthoQuick – Monday & Tuesday 1-9pm, Wednesday through Friday 5:30-9pm, Saturday 9-1pm (30 hours/week)

               

Senior Systems Engineer

Summit Orthopedics is in search of a Microsoft Focused Senior Systems Engineer. Interested parties should be an expert in the following Microsoft Technologies: Active Directory, Windows Server, Clustering, SQL (non-DBA), Exchange, Terminal Services, DFS, Server and Workstation Polices/ADMs and WSUS. Candidates should also have significant experience and proficiency with at least some of the following subject matter areas: Network Topology and Routing, Windows Deployment Services, MOM/SCCM/SAN Management, Virtual Computing, Network Security and/or Citrix. Candidates must be highly organized, a strong leader, able to multi-task, and able to rapidly move projects to resolution.  

 

Candidates under consideration will be responsive and able to handle multiple concurrent projects, high performing, energetic and flexible, strong IT expertise, be able to get along with everyone, and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.  A four-year degree in Information Technology (or related) and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a large physician or healthcare practice with a history of sustained success is preferred. Surgical Technician

Summit Orthopedics is in search of a full time Surgical Technician / Clinical Assistant to assist our orthopedic physician in clinic and surgery.  Responsibilities include suture removal, set up injections, cast application, and surgical assisting. Candidates must be detail orientated, highly organized, have strong customer service and be patient care oriented.  Candidates must have a minimum of one-year experience in a surgical setting and be willing to travel to other clinic sites.
